Easy Snack Box Ideas

As most of you know if you been following along with me for awhile, then you know I work a full time job outside the home and spend most of days at the office. A routine that I have adapted for quite some time is preparing Snack Boxes for me to eat sometimes for lunch or I tend to have a little craving around 3:00pm and instead of eating junk food, I will eat my snack box with healthier options and today, I wanted to share some of my ideas with you! Now, these are just a few of the ways I make my snack boxes but the options are endless.

I keep my snack box options pretty simple but definitely filling. I like to repeat some of my favorites and then throw in different options depending on my mood and what I currently have one hand. Some of my staples are slice cucumbers, hummus with a few pita chips. I like to use cupcake liners when I am including some sort of dip or you can use silicone cupcake liners that you can reuse which I also have those on hand as well and I just order them from Amazon. I always have cheese sticks or cubed up cheese for easy snacking. I like to use Applegate oven roasted turkey and I just roll them up and stick a toothpick to save on space. I also like to use turkey meat and onion and chive cream cheese for a easy tortilla roll up. I like to use various nuts in my snack box  but one of my favorites is almonds which I always have on hand. Throw in some fresh fruit and you have yourself a well balance snack box.

Using some of the same items, I love eating carrots and slice cucumbers with hummus and often throw in a hard boil egg for some extra protein. I love using the everything but the bagel seasoning from Trader Joe's on my eggs and it totally adds some amazing flavors.

Some of my other favorite things to include are apple slices with almond butter, I like to make my Easy Pasta Salad on Sundays and eat that during the week plus popcorn is a great little snack. For a little sweeter spin, you could do fruit with a dip and mini chocolate chips. You could also do a yogurt snack box with yogurts, cut up fruit and granola. The possibilities are endless and there is no right or wrong way to create your own snack box and my boys also love when I create these boxes for their own snacks. The boxes I use are very durable and can be repurposed and I order them on Amazon and you can grab that link here. I also get my little clear containers I use for my nuts and dips here. I like having all my supplies on hand so on Sunday evenings, I can prep all my snacks and package as much as I can to eat during the week. I hope this blog post helps spark some ideas for you if you been in a rut on what to pack for yourself or even your little ones!
